Early 19th-century Swedish pine sideboard resting on tapered feet with a natural waxed finish that highlights the warm pine tone. The interior and back was painted at a later date in a distressed white finish.
Curved side doors open to reveal narrow shelving and two small drawers; the upper right drawer is divided into three compartments. The top notched shelf was crafted originally to display silver or serving pieces.
Dovetail joints and tapered feet show traditional craftsmanship. Restored, strong, and ready for use. Locks no longer function, brass pull added to top of three doors.
Age-related wear includes cracks, stains, separations (seen along top, back, side corners, etc), and traces of old wormholes, all stable and expected for its age.
