This is a large blue cut to clear vase. While most cut to clear is done in circles and flowers, this is done in a series of slashes-some horizontal, some vertical and some at an angle. I find it to be a very tribal look and quite different from most. The vase is not marked and I do not know who made it.
The vase measures 4.75 inches across and is 12 1/8 inches tall.
The blue glass is thick and dark and the cuts are sharp symmetrical with no odd or missed cuts. There are some notches cut on the clear neck and the base is cut in a flower shape as shown.
The vase has no chips, cracks, or other damage. Thew dewsign is perfect and the color really sets off the cut design.
