This is a vintage Japanese porcelain plate, likely from the Kyo-yaki / Kiyomizu-yaki tradition, marked “Koshiyama Saku” on the base.
The plate features a beautifully hand-painted design of a bird perched among blooming peonies, rendered in deep cobalt blue with soft coral-red accents. The borders are decorated with intricate geometric patterns and floral cartouches, giving the piece an elegant classic Kyoto aesthetic.
The plate has an octagonal rectangular form, a style typical of traditional Kyo ware serving dishes. Its refined brushwork and balanced color palette make it an excellent decorative display piece as well as a functional serving platter.
