We … Read more Offered is a soon to be very stylish vintage swivel office chair by Doermer Faultless. Please read description carefully. We thought we encountered a Steelcase office chair with wood arms to match a sofa we have treasured for 30 yrs. Alas, it is similar in style, and in construction, but it is a Canadian designer, Frank Doermer, and his patented swivel mechanism chair. We've tested the chair and its proprietary leaning feature, and it works perfectly. It's been given a good scrub down, but requires re-upholstery to be beautiful, and could stand with a new chrome plating to get it spiffy and enviable. The details of Doermer's patent are below - we found it fascinating. We decided that rather than reupholstering this chair with our own choice, it belongs with someone who wants to customize their own details - wouldn't this be fabulous in a grainy pebbled leather and nickel plating on the heavy steel base? You decide - make it your own style. We've shown pictures of the hardware, all intact, and the extra good news is that the chair can easily be dismantled for easy shipping and upholstery grand finale. Features rubber wheels and walnut wood plank armrests.
