Table is made of gorgeous healthy vivid color Rosewood and the "Lyre" form gallery is ebonized black. There is one drawer with a desk setup inside, with great English dovetailing, most likely originaly made as a lap desk. On the top we have a spindle carved gallery which divides the top in two, and it is made with two handles on far ends for easier transport of the stand. Condition is good, light use / age wear, polished recently (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere at 16.75" wide and 11.75" deep, it is 20.25" tall to writing surface, while overall height is 27" tall to the top of the handles. This is a gorgeous accent piece that will work in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
