The table features a counterweighted adjustable tilting top mounted on a beechwood base with decorative vertical carvings and chrome-plated steel supports. Its expansive drafting surface is fitted with an Alpia parallel motion mechanism, a precision instrument also made in France. Dating from roughly the 1930s–1960s, this piece reflects the refined industrial craftsmanship once found in Europe’s architectural ateliers and engineering offices.
