Virgil Thrasher (American, b. 1943) is a self-taught California artist born in Sacramento, known for serigraphs, many of California landscapes. He exhibited for the first time in 1963 in Monterey, California, and he has shown in numerous California galleries since that time. His work often shows reflective images with subtlety and depth. This canvas is exquisitely showcased in a high-quality simple custom acrylic box frame, which provides a clean and modern look and allows the work itself o shine. The acrylic shows minor signs of wear with some faint scratching, but is in overall good condition for its age.
