The set includes six shot glasses and a matching rectangular serving tray, all showcasing the iridescent beauty of natural abalone in rich tones of green, blue, violet, and pearl. The craftsmanship reflects the artistic traditions of Taxco and other renowned Mexican workshops of the 1950s, where metalsmiths skillfully combined laton plateado (silver-plated brass) with natural shell inlays to create elegant barware and decorative pieces.

The underside retains its original label reading “MS 11-07, Laton Plateado, Hecho en México.”

This vintage set remains in good condition, with typical surface wear, small nicks, and light scratches consistent with age. A wonderful example of mid-century Mexican craftsmanship, ideal for collectors, entertainers, or those with an appreciation for organic glamour and artisanal detail.
