Offering for sale this vintage black with white veined marble pedestal with the following features:
- Both top and base are marked "Made in Italy"
- Based on marking and research, I believe this piece to be made circa 1950s
- Measures 38" height with an 8-3/4" wide top and an 8" wide base
- The center column is approximately 3.5" wide (10-3/4" in circumference)
- Color is black with white veins
- The top can be removed and nests back in place
- In good vintage condition: structurally sound and flush, but with observable scratches on the top shelf and bottom base, and two professional repairs on one side of the center column (the repairs are so effective that you cannot detect them with a casual, naked eye)
- Weighs approximately 41 pounds
