Classic blue & white lovers - this one is for you.
This is an authentic antique English Willow pitcher made by Davenport Bros of Hanley, Staffordshire, dating to the late 1800s-early 1900s. It has that gorgeous deep cobalt color, the romantic Willow scene, and the paneled faceted shape that instantly elevates wherever you style it.
I love these pitchers because they do everything:
Use it as a sculptural shelf piece, fill it with flowers, or bring a little old-world charm to a kitchen countertop. The form is beautiful from every angle, and the handle/spout details are so good.
It shows just the right amount of age - light crazing, some interior staining, and a softly worn base - exactly what you want to see in a 100+ year-old Staffordshire piece. Marked on the bottom “WILLOW / DAVENPORT BROS LTD / HANLEY ENGLAND.”
A timeless blue & white collectible that mixes perfectly with English country, cottage, traditional, Southern classic, grandmillennial, and chinoiserie-filled spaces.
