A fine pair of antique 19th-Century English brass push-up ejector candlesticks with an elegant inverted beehive form. They both retain the original ejector rods, but they do not move. One of the rods is stuck in the “up” position. Please see the photos. These quality sticks are decorative and functional. The size is 8”T x 2.5”W.
One of the most enduring items of beauty and grace continues to be English 19th century brass candlesticks. It is never quite possible to duplicate the aura of candlelight, and the effect it has on the mood of any environment. Add some lovely illumination to your evenings with these beautiful candlesticks! Everything will reflect beautifully in their glow.
Condition: These candlesticks do have some blemishes due to age and wear. The bases have some spots, as shown in the photos. They both retain the original ejector rods, but they do not move. One of the rods is stuck in the “up” position, which means that candle may stand up a little taller than the other one. You could just cut the other candle off approximately an inch and they could match in height. Also, one of the bases has a side that is slightly bent. Please see the photos, as the blemishes are shown.
