The oval glass surface features a beautifully rendered Florentine scroll motif on a warm gold marbled background—an iconic decorative approach associated with Italian artisans producing for both European interiors and the Hollywood Regency market during the 1950s–1960s.

The sculptural base offers graceful cabriole legs, foliate carving, and a refined Rococo Revival silhouette. The combination of a carved wood frame with reverse-painted glass is characteristic of mid-century Florentine decorative workshops, many of which used internal numbering systems (the underside of this table is marked “258”) rather than external branding.

The glass is original and displays beautifully with no chips or cracks. As sometimes happens with mid-century Florentine pieces, some of the original mounting tape beneath the glass has become visible in strong directional light but recedes in normal room illumination.
