A very beautiful antique Isfahan rug, hand knotted in 1930's, with 75% wool and 25% cotton, dyed with pigment from vegetable. Isfahan rugs are knotted on either silk or cotton foundations, and are renowned for their high quality. Antique/ semi-Antique rugs of Isfahan are rich in color and tone. Most rugs used traditional motifs inspired by the architectural motifs and tiles that decorated the historical buildings of this great city. This stunning rug has very tied weaves that makes it a very strong rug which will last forever, gorgeous allover floral design gives this rug an outstanding look.
