Vintage mid century hidden leaf extension dining table by Ansager Mobler, made in Denmark c. 1980s. This table was used with protective pads since original purchase and remains in incredible original condition.
One of our favorites by Ansager, the AM 56 features rounded edges with exposed finger joint detailing, solid teak edge banding, and legs with a subtle geometric taper. The surface tapers subtly towards the ends giving it a surfboard shape. Rich amber grain patterns sweep across the tabletop.
The internally stored leaf adds 37 inches, bringing the total length to just under 8 feet. Fully expanded it accommodates 8 guests comfortably and up to ten if needed.
