A rare Meissen hard-paste porcelain tea pot from the mid-18th century, featuring a later silver-gilt spout and mounts by the Augsburg workshop. The bulbous body is decorated with vibrant polychrome chinoiserie scenes and delicate flower painting, representing the technical mastery and whimsical imagination that defined early German porcelain.
Circa 1750, this original period piece was crafted during the golden age of Meissen when the factory first mastered the secrets of white gold.
Hard-paste porcelain with polychrome enamels and gold, featuring a replaced silver-gilt spout and hinged mounts. Rooted in the Rococo tradition, this piece embodies the 18th century elegance and the European fascination with Eastern motifs known as chinoiserie.
