Antique Throne Rocking Chair originated from the estate of Townsend Harris (1804-1871), who was the first U.S. Consul General to Japan and was a key figure in opening formal relations in the mid-19th century. Dimensions: 39”H x 25.5” W x 33”D.
Condition: Good to Very Good for a 150+ year old chair. With some scratches that can be touched-up (see photos) and upholstery/underseat are in excellent condition!!
