Beautiful vintage Japanese woven silk artwork depicting a bijin (beautiful woman), woven in the Kyoto Nishijin-ori textile tradition. This is a true woven Jacquard silk piece, not a print, with visible thread texture throughout (see close-ups).
Professionally framed in a lacquered black frame with double matting.
Please note: the frame has minor surface scrapes and light edge wear consistent with age. Nothing structural — purely cosmetic and visible only upon close inspection.
