It came from a … Read more This is a matted Mid-Century vintage print for a French perfume,”Fleurs d’Eté” (Summer Flowers) by Bienaime. It came from a 1947 limited edition catalog showcasing Bienaimé perfumes and the art and beauty of creating an iconic fragrance. The catalog was sent to Bienaimé customers thus had limited circulation making the print a rarity. The print is done on a finely textured paper which has a beautiful quality and is evident in the photo. Done in rich pastel color tones, the print features a decorative perfume bottle (note the bottle stopper!) and its detailed floral design box. It is surrounded by a background of floating floral details. There are details of gold metallic ink in the background designs and in the trim of the bottle box which may be difficult to see in the photos. This is quite special and create a delicate quality to the image. Perfect for bedroom or bathroom décor! The image is clean and in excellent condition. 8.25 x 11 inches in size. Comes tab mouted on acid free paper ready for matting/framing. See less
