Vintage 1980s black and white Neo Deco dining chairs. The dramatic, high-back, chairs have a glossy lacquer finish. The white upholstery on the seats is pristine. The chairs had the original plastic on the seat when we purchased them from the original owner. We took the plastic off in order to properly display the chairs. The 1980s enjoyed an Art Deco revival which came to be known as "Neo Deco." This dining set is a prime example of the Neo Deco zeitgeist. The graduating arches on the chair backs emulate The Chrysler Building's crown... an Art Deco architectural icon.
