A striking antique table lamp featuring a sculptural base of four elephants supporting a lotus-shaped opaline glass shade. The glass top exhibits beautiful milky blue and white veining, glowing warmly when illuminated. The base is cast metal with a verdigris patina, detailed with ornate elephant figures in a circular formation—each trunk raised in unison to uphold the lamp bowl.
This piece is a rare example of early 20th-century decorative design, likely produced in Europe in the 1920s–1930s, when exotic motifs and animal symbolism were popular in both Art Deco and Orientalist interiors.
