Mid 20th Century organic modern Cushman handcrafted wood lounge chair by Herman de Vries. A stunningly handsome piece. This solid wood chair is carved from maple and features unique joinery. Arrow spindle back, wide arm rests, carved seat, and wide sturdy legs.
This piece is not in pristine condition…it’s in perfectly worn “sat in every day because it’s my favorite chair” condition. See condition for more details.

- In good vintage condition. Overall wear consistent with age and use - scratches, wear to finish, dents and dings…all adding … moreIn good vintage condition. Overall wear consistent with age and use - scratches, wear to finish, dents and dings…all adding to the character, not distracting from it. The is a loose joint on left backrest rail which makes the top wood back rest slide side to side. I’m guessing a little wood glue would do the trick but I would rather the new owner make the call on if/how they would prefer to fix it. Still useable and sturdy as is. less
