A striking blend of elegance and artistry, this cloisonné rosewood side table is a timeless decorative piece rooted in Chinese craftsmanship. Whether used as an end table, plant stand, or focal point, it enhances any interior with its cultural significance and tasteful beauty. Celebrated for its radiant tone and durability, the rosewood frame is expertly carved. A round panel, 12" inches across, cloisonné involves soldering thin copper strips to create enamel compartments, then hand-filling them with vivid colored enamel—typically finished with a lacquered sheen for protection. Chrysanthemum flowers, and decorative floral patterns are filled against a turquoise background. Lacquer layers preserve the piece’s sheen and add smooth feel. Top surface measures 15.5" wide.
