A restored antique, early 1900s, red and gold painted cabinet from the Dongbei region of China. Converted from an old grain chest into a sideboard, two bi-fold doors have been added to the front to access the interior with tons of storage and a single removable shelf. The front is painted with a gold floral and geometric motif, with brass hardware adding to the decorative nature of this piece. A restored natural wood top, sides and back provide a nice contrast to the dark red paint. The piece is strong, stable and ready for everyday use. The cabinet has been sealed with a satin lacquer finish - please note that the distressed nature of the paint is commensurate with use and the age of the piece.
