This Columbus Caravel figurine is an elegant example of Italian silver work, with a level of detail that reflects the skill of the artisans who produced it. Estimated to date from the 1980s and 1990s, it carries a clear 800 silver stamp that confirms its Continental Silver quality.
The sticker on the base refers to Sterling Silver 925, but the piece itself is correctly made in Continental Silver 800. Complete with its base, it remains an unusual and rare model and is now offered for the first time on Vintage Silver Boutique.
