A sculptural vintage Chinese stone censer carved with three playful guardian lion-dogs (shishi). Made from a warm ochre-yellow calcite/onyx-type stone, the piece has a soft waxy sheen and expressive, high-relief carving. The removable lid features a seated lion finial, echoed by two additional lions climbing the sides of the rounded vessel. A substantial decorative accent for shelves, consoles, or a chinoiserie-inspired vignette.
