The top of the rim has a band of blue, calligraphic, variations of Arabic letters accented by a thin, blue ringlet. The exterior is decorated with two, freely drawn, red, five-clawed dragons amid a dense network of leafy vines with lotus flowers. The lower part of the pot is banded with large, blue, Ru Yi lappets. A blue, six character, Wanli, reign mark in Kaishu script within double rings is glazed to the inset circle of the base. Circa Republic of China era, no later than early 20th. See less
