It was crafted circa 1980, by Harden Furniture, in solid cherry with the original hand-rubbed finish, dovetail joinery and brass hardware - all hallmarks of this iconic American company.

The table features classic Federal-style details, including straight tapered legs ending in brass-capped wheeled casters, graceful proportions and a curved drawer and hidden inside drawer with traditional brass pulls. The drop-leaf design makes it both versatile and space-saving - perfect as a side table, lamp table or occasional piece.

Harden Furniture, a family-owned company established in 1844 in McConnelsville, NY, was celebrated for its heirloom-quality solid cherry wood furniture with lustrous hand-rubbed finishes, dovetail joinery and brass hardware. Sadly, the company closed in 2018, making its pieces increasingly rare and sought after by collectors who value authentic Federal Revival design, American craftsmanship and enduring quality.
