Cowabunga! What a fabulous vintage surfing book! Illustrated with photographs of surfers, this vintage anthology covers a wide range of surfing topics, including the sport's history, science, notable surfers, and adventure stories.
Contributors include James Michener, Jack London, Frederick Kohner, William Bascom, Henry Boston, Bruce Bonney, Chuck King, Bill Cleary, Candy Calhoun, Ron Church, among others.
The vintage book is in good condition showing wear consistent with its age and use. The dust jacket shows wear including some paper loss, a tear on the spine and soiling. It was recently incased in a mylar wrapper to prevent further damage. There is a handwritten gift inscription at the front:
