LIKELY 19TH CENTURY

About 6" x 3" x 3 1/2"
DESCRIPTION
Hand carved treen ware dipper or ladle. Likely Native American style origin. Probably Penobscot or other tribe of the Wabanaki Confederacy. Entirely hewn out of a single piece of hardwood.
CONDITION
Overall excellent. No defects noted. No age checks. Rich, dark age patina (all visible in the images). A FINE AND EARLY PRIMITIVE DRINKING CUP.
