A rare collectible, this icon of Scandinavian design exemplifies simplicity and functionality. It features a rustic design with high-quality materials and craftsmanship. The stool has a classic three-legged form with splayed legs that penetrate the seat and are traditionally wedged from above. The solid wood seat is heavily contoured. The distinctive hole in the center of the seat serves as a functional handle and, in traditional use, allows for moisture drainage. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
