A rich ,warm terra-cotta or brick red fills the entire central field. Decorated with repeating diamond-shaped motifs arranged in orderly horizontal rows. Colors in the motifs include yellow, orange navy blue , white, light blue, and green, all in natural looking dye tones The inner border is narrow with small square and diamond motifs, clor alternate in blue, white and oranges. The main border is wide, dominated by stepped rectangular patterns. The outer border completed with a band of alternating white and dark diamonds, extending around the entire piece. The rug is wool on wool. See less
