Large 1970s Mottahdeh brass reproduction 16th century Dutch or Swedish candlestick. Made of hammered and repousse decorated sheet brass but weighted at the base. Separate bobeche with an opening that will hold a modern regular tapered candle. Black baize or felt on the bottom, with a Mottahedeh Museum Reproductions label. This was possibly made for the Metropolitan Museum in New York's repro program.
