These are very early Modern Library books two or which were published by Boni and Liveright. The books's flexible leatherette covers are in varying shades of green. The vintage book set includes two books with Art Deco era linocut art endpapers by Horace Brodsky and one book with Lucien Bernhard designed endpapers.

The vintage books show wear consistent with their age and use including toning to the pages and wear to the covers. Previous owners wrote their names at the front of the books.
