This is an antique English Rustic Secretary Desk that makes the perfect choice for a cozy office, a student's desk, or just a great place to catch up on correspondence and pay bills anywhere in the home.
Handcrafted from solid Oak, it features a classic slant front fitter with 3 carved panels depicting a family
crest and stylized foliage and flowers.
Below, two half-drawers and three full-width drawers provide copious storage, each fitted with brass chippendale-style
bale pulls. Next to the half drawers are two supports with brass knobs that pull out to provide extra support for the
desktop that is revealed when one opens the slant front, also exposing the clever interior with 6 cubby holes, six small drawers, and even a miniature cabinet at the center, plus a tooled faux leather writing surface to add a bit of luxury.
