Vintage 1950s solid walnut China shelf and hutch. Crafted from beautifully grained walnut in a warm traditional finish. The set reflects the craftsmanship of Mid-Century Midwestern furniture. A two-piece China cabinet (cabinet base with storage + hutch top with plate display shelves)
• Two-piece design: lower cabinet base with drawers and enclosed storage and upper hutch with open shelves with plate grooves
• 48 1/2 X20 X 35 cabinet base, 48 1/2 X 12 X 36 hutch shelf
• Exquisite scalloped-edge detailing and crown molding

Sturdy and in great vintage condition.
There is a matching dining table with collapsible leaves and six chairs also available for sale.
The piece is from the Abernathy Furniture company. One of Kansas' earliest and most successful businesses was the furniture company established in 1856 by James Abernathy and siblings William and John. Abernathy Brothers Furniture later moved to Kansas City, Missouri and became a highly visible regional business, known for its quality furniture.
