The … Read more This is a vintage set of large, high-quality reproductions of R. Havell's hand-colored engravings from Audubon’s "Birds of America." The set includes two framed pieces, "Blue Jay" and "Passenger Pigeon". These reproductions were produced by Victorius Feika, a division of Virginia Metalcrafters, and come with original Certificates of Authenticity on the backs.. The restrikes were likely made in the 1960s. Each framed piece measures 29 inches wide by 35 inches high and is beautifully framed in metallic wood frames and hand-painted mats by Ted Marshall at Fleischer Frame Co. in Manhattan, also noted on the backs. The Pigeons piece is missing some points on the back to hold it in the frame properly. Backing papers show tears and wear. less
