Pair of rare vintage/antique Christofle salt & pepper Shakers with sterling silver (925) tops (3.1 grams.} They are a matched pair with the holes in the pepper being larger than the holes in the salt shaker.
They say "good things come in small packages" and "tiny treasures" comes to mind as well. These are small and precious, pieces only very wealthy folks could purchase in the early part of the century or perhaps the latter part of the previous century. Christofle used Baccarat glass in many of their pieces or only the finest quality glass. They are marked Chrisofle on the bottom in raised letters as shown in photo.
