This sink is in superb condition for its 91 years, with the original faucet and porcelain that is relatively blemish free. The official manufacturer's color name is "Ivorie de Medici". The basic description is that there is light wear in the form of slight scratches, a couple very small dings, and hard water deposits that have been nearly all eliminated on the top, but not on the underside. If you have come across any of our other listings, you found that the items we offer are described in detail so that you get a better idea of what you are looking at, and this one is no different even though there are not all that many areas to point out. Top to bottom: The top caps and handles of both faucets are good overall, with some light blemishes to be found, but nothing that stands out. The escutcheon on the right one is good, and the left one has some nickel deterioration. The stopper lift rod is in good shape overall and functions as it should. The spout's finish is fine, but there are a few small "dents" on the top, near the back. This sink has not seen water for decades, but the movement of both knobs does feel correct, and an inspection of the interiors showed that all looks good, save for the gaskets that may or may not need to be replaced. The horizontal surface where the faucet resides and running around and in front of the basin are very good. There is a 0.07" chip in back of the spout and one in front, to the right, that measures 0.06". The rest of this surface is fine, with only some light wear in the form of fine scratches. The sides running down the basin are damage free and look fine, and the bottom is very good. Aside from light scratches, the only areas found to point out are two tiny dings. There is a 0.07" one located to the right of the drain toward the middle and one near the left edge measuring 0.04". The entire outside of the sink (front and sides) looks excellent, with virtually no blemishes to be found. The back is also good, with no issues to report. The pedestal is in excellent condition from the top down to approximately a couple of inches from the base, where there are some fine, light marks that will be virtually invisible when the sink is set up. There are no chips, and it has a glossy finish. The underside is very good overall with no damage or excessive wear, and all mechanical and plumbing pieces are corrosion and damage free, save for the short COLD water pipe that has a hole in it. Included are the original Standard elbow wall piece, the trap, two brackets, and the bolt that secures the top of the sink to the pedestal, but no drain plug. Please see the pictures for further details.
*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this, and for whatever reason, recently it has not been producing the quality images it once did. There are pictures included with and without the use of flash in an attempt to show the details. The description is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and areas are pointed out that may look nearly flawless in the pictures.
