A fabulous relic from the 1939 New York World’s Fair, this rare Saturn lamp captures the era’s fascination with science, progress, and the promise of the space age. The frosted glass globe is adorned with delicate star patterns and rings that glow softly when lit, resting atop a stepped conical glass base reminiscent of early rocket design.
Originally sold as a souvenir or display piece at the “World of Tomorrow” exposition, this lamp remains an iconic piece of mid-century design and optimism.
It measures 11.25" tall and 6" in diameter. It is in very good vintage condition as shown in the photographs, with age appropriate wear throughout. Some interior paint loss as shown and quite common with these lamps. Has newer wiring that is in very good condition.
