This piece displays a highly distressed look with paint partially missing in various spots to give it that faux aged appearance. It does have some considerable weight as it is one solid slab of wood. Judging from the two hooks on the back I would guess this piece to be a "recent vintage" item from perhaps the 1980s or 90s. There is a rather long multi-digit number written on the back side but I don't know what it refers to. Most likely Balinese in origin. Truly an exquisite piece of home decor with a definite high-end touch! See less
