This time-honored clay weaving technique is a bit of a marvel with each layer carefully laid by hand. The white glaze finish gives it a nice glossy appearance, and the basketweave adds depth and texture. This beautiful piece is in excellent vintage condition being structurally sound and sturdy. There is evidence of minor, age-appropriate wear from use, including a few small chips and cracks in glaze, stains on interior bottom and base. See photos. These "imperfections" do not detract from the overall look of this piece, but they do enhance its vintage character! See less
