Born in France during the politically dynamic 19th century, this exquisite painting features a lovely bouquet of pink, red and yellow roses displayed in a copper-hued vase, surrounded by cut roses casually left on a tabletop. A couple of white petals adorn the left side of the composition while a delicate decorative box accentuates the right side. The ensemble is perfectly highlighted by the dark hue of the background. The painting is set inside its original carved giltwood frame with petite flowers that compliments the general palette beautifully.
