Published in 1955 by Simon and Schuster, this is a Stated 5th printing of the First Edition. The 65-page book, text and drawings, are in clean and bright condition.. (no scribbles, fingerprints or damp wine stains!). The book includes the surprising vertical fold-out, (pages 13, 14, 15)in very good condition.T Under the well-worn, unclipped jacket, the off-white boards also are clean and bright. The name of the previous owner is beautifully inscribed on the inside front cover. (famous?) The dust jacket is chipped and torn along the edges and the spine.. But the important leafs are here: the hilarious front cover of Eloise making her mark, and the back cover photos of the author and illustrator.. Such a great book for children & the young of heart - and also pretty hard to find in First Edition condition..Nostalgia rules & very few books are as nostalgic as the Eloise series. A great vintage treasure! It will be sent, carefully packed with tracking. See less
