Elegant wheel-thrown studio pottery vase featuring a matte charcoal body and a lustrous glazed rim that shifts from copper-red to deep green - an effect reminiscent of Raku finishes.
The underside is signed “Lucy Chamb”, consistent with the signature style attributed to Lucy Chamberlain, a California artist best known for her sculptural glass work. Ceramic pieces attributed to Chamberlain are scarce, making this a unique find for collectors of late 20th-century American studio pottery.
A refined, minimalist vessel with gorgeous tonal contrast — ideal for modern, wabi-sabi, or California-craft interiors.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Subtle surface variations consistent with handmade ceramics.
