Crafted in bright Famille Rose enamels with a finely detailed robe in yellow floral pattern, purple drapery, and gilt accents.

The piece embodies the auspicious “Five Boys” motif, representing the five elements and blessings of prosperity, longevity, and joy. The Laughing Buddha’s expressive face and the lively gestures of the children reflect the exuberant style typical of People’s Republic–era porcelain (1950s–1970s).

Two impressed factory marks appear on the unglazed base — consistent with mid-century Dehua or Guangdong production for export.
