This is a beautiful and collectible pair of vintage Chinese porcelain mugs with matching lids. Each mug is hand-painted in the traditional Famille Rose style, featuring a vibrant floral design with turquoise and pink accents. The mugs are often referred to as "covered tea mugs" and are perfect for brewing and enjoying loose-leaf tea, as the lid helps to keep the beverage warm.
The bottom of each mug is marked with "中国制造," which translates to "Made in China." This mark was commonly used on export porcelain from the mid-20th century. This set would make an excellent addition to a collection of Asian ceramics or as a unique decorative item for a maximalist or grand millennial decor style.
