This is a “qinghua” (blue pattern) Chinese pedestal bowl, decorated with the familiar scene that became popular in the 14th century. There is no mark on the underside, which our appraisers say indicates it was produced sometime after the early 1900s. This is from our extensive collection of posh blue and white ceramics.
The best part is the intensity of the cobalt blue. The piece is in excellent condition.
