An intense yet whimsical abstract oil painting on canvas by Virginia artist Roderick Coles. The post Nirvana rock and roll narrative, is loud, threadbare and worn in . Within the viewing space of the work titled “not tonight honey, I just want to listen to my records”, objects float above a dirty and worn hand knotted rug.
