Antique early 19th century English pearlware commemorative plate for Queen Caroline of Brunswick circa 1820. Features a portrait of Queen Caroline, the consort of King George IV.
This plate was created to commemorate her coronation in 1821. Transfer printed portrait in the center surrounded by a relief molded border of leaves. Measures 6 5/8" diameter. Good condition - light wear.
