Flowers are a favorite subject matter for me and I love painting them This painting was just exhibited at the Wood River Museum and Heritage Center. The painting is signed on the lower left. The painting is an original impasto style oil painting measuring 14x11 inches. The painting is painted on a Gesso-board panel. Framed in a lovely gold frame which measures 15x12" is a wonderful size for your private dressing room, office corner or guest powder room. Bright, beautiful and bold.

Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her botanicals. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago and the Harlin Museum in West Plains, MO. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, New York, NY, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Marina lives in St. Louis, MO.
